The cordyceps market is flooded with imported product, bulk-produced, mass-dried, and shipped across the ocean before it reaches you. Quality varies wildly and traceability is often nonexistent.

Chris and Lauren have been farming this land in western North Carolina for over 30 years. Certified organic since 1997 — before the federal certification program existed. What started with herbs and produce sold to Whole Foods and Earth Fare has evolved into one of the only domestic cordyceps operations in the US.
No middlemen. No mystery origins. One farm, one product, fully traceable — and priced to compete with Chinese imports.
Meet the Farm →Cordyceps militaris is a species of parasitic fungus with a long history of use in traditional Asian medicine. Unlike the wild-harvested Cordyceps sinensis, which is rare and expensive, militaris can be cultivated with consistently high quality and is considered the superior commercial variety.
Most cordyceps on the market is imported from China, where quality control and organic certification standards differ significantly from USDA requirements. USA-grown cordyceps under USDA Organic certification means you know exactly what was used in its cultivation, and what wasn't.
Dried whole fruiting body cordyceps preserves the full compound profile of the mushroom as nature produced it. Extracts concentrate certain compounds but remove others. Whole dried is the most complete form of the ingredient, and what we sell.
If you make tinctures, mushroom coffee, functional supplements, or food products — and you care where your ingredients come from — we want to be your supplier. USDA Organic, whole fruiting body, single domestic source. COAs available.
